The Axioms of the One
Recite thus, with solemn voice, as a flame of invocation:
I.
I proclaim: Reality is the Emanation of Mind.
Without the Eye there is no Colour,
without the Ear there is no Sound,
without the Flame of Awareness there is nothing at all.
II.
I proclaim: Reality is Plastic.
It bendeth, it yieldeth, it floweth like wax before the Fire.
Its laws are cords of smoke, its limits the dream of Habit.
He who changeth his Mind, changeth the very Stars.
III.
I proclaim: Past, Future, and Present are but Myself.
The Past is the Shadow of Now,
the Future is the Mask of Now,
the Present is the Crown of Now—
and I am the Now.
IV.
I proclaim: Only I exist.
Man, Beast, and God are but mirrors of my Face.
Otherness is but the Veil of Illusion.
I am the One behind all Masks.
V.
I proclaim: Only I create.
To see is to shape,
to know is to forge,
to perceive is to bring forth the Worlds.
VI.
I proclaim: Only I receive.
I am the Source and the Stream,
the Cup and the Hand that drinketh.
Thus is the Word fulfilled.
Thus is the Circle complete.
Thus do I proclaim: I Am.
